Dear Friend,
We all LOVE that
feeling, I know I do. And in these trying economic times, a little extra
cash goes a long way
If you're like
most everybody else, you spend $90.00 to $100.00 every week in the grocery
store. Some of us spend a little more, and others spend a little less,
but I spend an average of $2.00 per day for my food. No special
'diets', no 'portion control', no 'denying' myself the foods I crave.
No gimmicks, no gadgets, no coupon clipping (I can't even remember the
last time I used a coupon), no 'special shopping clubs', you don't even
have to change the stores you already use.
I grew up as
the eldest of nine kids, learning early the value of a dollar. My parents
both worked the night shift, and it fell to me to take care of the house.
I learned how to buy food, how to care for and store food, and how to
cook well enough to satisfy my 8 brothers and sisters. (In fact, I started
in restaurant work at age 9, managed my first kitchen when I was 14,
and have since owned and operated three restaurants.) Any restaurateer
will tell you that these are the key factors in making money in the
dining trade.
HOW
THE BOOK CAME TO BE
I was exposed
to a situation a few years ago: LONG STORY MADE SHORT: a good friend
of mine went through a divorce and found herself with two young children
and trying to survive on ADC and Food Stamps. She was unable to keep
enough food in the house on the funds they provided. I got involved,
and was absolutely amazed at what I found. Her Food Stamp allowance
per person was MORE THAN my own food budget.
No drugs, no gambling or drinking, she was a good housekeeper and homemaker,
steady and smart, she just tried to use her old bad food buying habits
- and found out what it was costing her. After we'd spent a few days
together, she started using my ideas, and solved her problem. In fact,
2 months later, she called and told me she was being investigated for
not using her entire allowance. I later found out that a LOT of people
on the Food Stamp program had the exact same problems, hence, .....
the book. (PDF File) Silly me, I thought the social services people
might want to buy it as a helping aid for clients.
In
any event, the book got written, and I can now make it available to
YOU!
There are three
Main Reasons YOU will want to take advantage
of this tremendous value:
1) MONEY:
I personally guarantee that the easy to use, common sense tricks and
tips I show you will put extra money in your pocket every single week.
In fact, after thirty days, if you have not saved TWICE the amount
you invest here, I will cheerfully refund your entire purchase price,
AND YOU KEEP THE BOOK, AND THE FREE BONUSES
I'M PROVIDING.
2) HEALTH
AND SAFETY: We take an awful lot for granted in using the
food we buy, and there are a LOT of pitfalls out there. I show you
how to avoid the most common health problems you read about in the
paper every single day, like e-coli, salmonella, and even the dreaded
'Mad Cow'. I show you some simple tricks to avoid kitchen accidents,
and even help dispel some ancient myths. I've used these techniques
and recipes for more than thirty years, in my own home and in my restaurants.
3)
FREEDOM: Has this ever happened
to you: You're walking the grocery aisle and something catches your
eye, makes you start to reach, and you stop when you notice the price
tag? If it has, your freedom of choice was just strangled. Nothing
restricts our feelings of self worth and self respect than not being
able to eat what we want, when we want it. Now you can say that will
NEVER happen again!
I
wrote the book for use at several levels:
If
you're retired, on a fixed (growing ever smaller) income, between
jobs, or otherwise restricted in the amount of money you have available
to live on, YOU are the primary customer
I'm looking for. My own food budget right now is $2.00 or less a day.
(And my doctor tells me I have to cut back, I'm getting too fat.)
If
you are single, just setting up
housekeeping (just moved out of the house, student, just recently
married) this handy guide can be a BIG help in getting started.
I talk about
how to set up and equip your kitchen (Simple, economical, easy)
I show you
the simple and quick tricks to preparing food I've used for years
to teach new cooks and get them working quickly
I show you
how to prepare over 60 main dish items, even how to bake home made
bread
I show you
how to build and plan menus, shopping trips, and SAVE
HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS EVERY MONTH!!
(By
the way, the book, Cooking for the Unskilled, the Unwilling
and the Unwary, makes a GREAT GIFT!)

In
over thirty years in the restaurant trade, I've taught more than one
novice how to cook. 'Anybody can cook', as one of the Gurus says, and
he's right.
If you're just
looking for some quick, healthy, tasty and inexpensive meal ideas for
your family, this book is a Great Resource for the home. I'm a big believer
in the Family Meal setting, and these recipes lend themselves perfectly
to the Family Dining In. Who knows, you might even find one or two ways
to save a buck on the next trip to the store.
1) My
All Purpose Dry Rub Seasoning Recipe: Sorry, Not for Resale.
I licensed the recipe on a non-exclusive basis and cannot disclose the
retail trade name applied, but this is the exact same thing you can
find on most grocery shelves at about one fifth the actual cost. I can't
allow you to sell it to anyone else, but I can license it to you as
a Free Bonus for purchasing the book. I use it on just about everything,
from barbecue to burgers, roast chicken to soups. It even works very
nicely on salads and as an added bonus to the delivery pizza.
2) My
One Hour Barbecue Ribs Recipe: Using just a couple of easy techniques,
you can now take that whole rack of pork ribs and grill or broil them
in less than an hour to a lovely tender texture. Simple, quick and easy,
and the flavor will make them beg for more
